Solugen, the only North American nominated for a European award for innovative slurry treatment technology
The Flemish Coordination Centre for Manure Processing (VCM) (Belgium) hands out every two years the ‘Ivan Tolpe Prijs’, an award for innovation in manure processing. This price is handed out to the participant proposing an innovative technique contributing to the processing of manure in a more sustainable and cost-efficient way. A transition in the sector of manure processing towards circular economy, including nutrient recovery, can ensure that manure gets valorised.
As of today, four European companies (Belgium, Denmark, Ireland, and Sweden) and Solugen will take part to this contest. Around November/December Solugen will present its solution to a selected jury.
The results will be announced during the official award ceremony, which is normally scheduled for February 2021.
