On October 29th, Solugen officially inaugurated its first pig manure treatment unit on a farm in the Lotbinière region (Québec-Canada) in the presence of 70 participants.
The unique Solugen process can retrieve to 84% of the volume of manure in the form of drinking water, and extract three types of fertilizer: phosphorus, nitrogen and potassium, thus creating a circular economy.
During this event, several members of the swine industry, partners, research centers and government representatives were present.
Thanks to Members of Parliament Steven Blaney and Jacques Gourdes for their speech supporting the development of Solugen that will contribute to the growth of pork production while respecting the environment and social acceptability.
We would also like to thank all the participants who contributed to making this event a success.
